The Monroe L160-X series was manufactured from approx 1920-1960 between the columns of keys, and under case, are metal rods visible through windows in case. In back of the keyboard is carriage, with 16 result dials and eight revolution register.

The zeroing key is the opposite color from rest of keys in column. Comes in a carrying case with handle, two front locking latches and keys. The dials of the revolution register are numbered around edge from 9 to white and 1 in red. The eight columns of keys each include nine digit and one zeroing key.
