I also tested it without the paper and was working. The only thing noticed power light does not up when turned on.the machine is in excellent clean condition. No cracks, marks or aesthetic defects. Control buttons such as feed for paper, c clear, Ce clear entry, and indicators for power error. Condition: tested functioning there was a little bit of paper left I able to print few functions.
